一日，普通的女高中生元宫茜（川上友子 配音），以及好友森村天真（关智一 配音）和流山诗纹（宫田幸季 配音）三人被一枚红叶传送到了遥远的“京”。在那里，人们称茜为“白龙神子”，她能够使用自己体内寄存的龙神之力来保护京都免受恶灵的骚扰。而所谓的八叶，分别代表了四青龙和四白虎，他们的任务是围绕在神子身边，保护神子安危。同时，温柔可人的藤公主（大谷育江 配音）也尽着自己微薄的力量照顾茜的起居。 在那个时空中，维持气流稳定的四神被鬼族夺走了，鬼王亚克拉姆（置鲇龙太郎 配音）更是显出了真身向茜发起了挑衅。为了防止结界被破坏，茜必须和鬼王战斗，并且夺回四神。可是随着时间的推移，亚克拉姆逐渐被茜身上的单纯和正直打动，而茜也被亚克拉姆的神秘身世深深吸引，处于善恶两端的他们，能否拥有圆满的结局呢？
