鹤鸣钟润影视公司 CEO 顾时雍，立志打造一档弘扬中华传统文化的大型文化类综艺节目 《传承》，他力邀青年文物专家陶唐、知名导演穆宗沄参加，陶唐风度翩翩、谦和有礼，因 偶然的意外走红网络，成为知名的男神级文物专家，然而他本人却对“历史文物过度娱乐化” 的创作倾向甚为反感，虽接受好友顾时雍的邀请成为节目顾问，却对节目保持观望态度。穆宗沄艺术造诣极深，拥有自己独特的眼光与审美，不轻易为世俗妥协。三人为广纳贤才，立即开展节目编导的招聘工作。经过顾父特别引进的人才鱼在藻与众多面试者一同参加应聘，顾时雍对“走后门”的行 为十分反感，不打算对其予以录用。不料鱼在藻专业能力突出，临场反应极佳，还有深入基层工作的经验，亮眼的表现竟让众面试官哑口无言，虽然顾时雍依旧对鱼在藻观感不佳，但也不愿意损失一位人才，只好将鱼在藻暂时收入麾下。
