看到广小路药厂发表会要用的说明书在印刷上出错，贯井（堤真一饰）大发雷霆。因为壮吾（阪口宪二饰）的疏忽，整批说明书必须重新再印过，因此贯井耐不住性子对壮吾大发脾气。藤子（深津绘里饰）发现壮吾最近心不在焉，于是便找贯井商量应该怎么办。藤子本来以为是贯井太凶，才会害壮吾心情不佳，但是吉武（西村雅彦饰）却认为可能是壮吾想要离开贯井广告，跳槽到其他公司去。 情人节那天藤子趁着公司只剩自己跟壮吾独处时，鼓起勇气问壮为何最近心情不好，结果发现自己完全猜测错误，壮吾烦恼的是与香里之间的感情问题。知道壮吾不会辞职，藤子也放下心来，不过此时却接到一通电话表示，明天在商品发表会上要用的茴香种子竟然还未寄达，如果不能及时找到足够的种子，发表会将会以失败收场，而贯井广告也将名声扫地…
