婚姻事件簿之烽 四年一度的世界杯又到，有朋为赶潮流，在厨艺中心教学员煮有益球迷小食。可是，一班主妇却怨声载道，认为世界杯只会令家人不务正业。有朋见状马上开解一班主妇，说出最紧要一家人和睦，世界杯也难以动摇家人的地位的豪言。 原来高家众人个个也是球迷，每晚都会聚在一起看球赛。本来有朋也觉得没有问题，可是，他竟然发觉蕙婷与悦满母女二人因追看球赛而不务正业，甚至忘记交电费，渐渐觉得二人行为过分。刚巧，有朋从药房的伙计口中，得知送子女升学可助儿女独立的好处，「望女成龙」的有朋立即找悦满母女商量，可惜悦满只懂和蕙婷讨论球赛，完全无视有朋。此事令有朋下定决心，要送蕙婷出国。还安排她作仿真面试。 到了面试当日，悦满在陪蕙婷到达面试场地前，竟在街上撞到一个街头世界杯问答比赛；二人本着好奇参加，竟因此错过面试。二人回家只好讹称蕙婷因肚痛没有参加，不过有朋其实早已得悉一切，更誓言蕙婷非出国不可……
