柴飞得一桥提点看出了子谦弱点，在比赛中令子谦无从发挥实力；柴飞虽成功打败子谦，但子谦仍可以次名出线者身分参加准决赛。 柴飞的朋友恭贺他时，柴飞坦言说出是得一桥提点，唐丁却偶然听到此事。一桥往找滔滔，向她查问子谦是否有异样；两人亦因此发现子谦已得悉上一代之间的恩怨。 子谦提出　脱离师门 一桥托滔滔约子谦到桌球室见面，一桥向他详述当年自己与子谦父母之间的事情后，更为令子谦有不快回忆而道歉。子谦没有接受道歉，更说出已从唐丁处听到是一桥将弱点告诉柴飞出卖自己；愤怒不已的子谦更向一桥提出要脱离师门。 欧阳健为了报复玛莉与他离婚，竟然中止给子谦的赞助；为了令子谦不受此事影响，一桥私下四出替子谦找赞助商…… 滔滔通知子谦有新赞助商，但被他发现对方因卖账给一桥……建冲发现唐丁潦倒不已，为助他东山再起答应训练子谦。 子谦成功　打败建冲 加勤追问子谦为何突然性情大变，子谦只得说出自己欲替父亲打败一桥的想法；子谦克服了自身弱点更打败建冲，更成功获得修德的赞助。 一桥欲送「倚天cue」给子谦，要他不可再与唐丁合作，但却遭子谦拒绝。
